About Kravica

Also known as the oasis in stone, Kravica waterfall is a natural pearl with a unique, stunning beauty, located 16 kilometers (10 miles) from Medjugorje, and less than 9 kilometers (5.5 miles) from Ljubuški. It is a breathtaking waterfall created by the Trebižat River, flowing through limestone terrains and depositing tufa. A semicircular water amphitheatre is located at the foot of the waterfall with a diameter of 120 meters, while the waterfall itself is 28 meters high. The Trebižat River is rich in waterfalls and plant and animal life, especially willows, apple trees, poplars, and many fish species, which is why it attracts locals and tourists from all around the world to enjoy serene and peaceful moments, or take upon some of many dynamic activities in water.
